The economic, technological, and social systems shaping our future were not designed to sustain life. Accelerating technologies like AI risk deepening the meta-crisis. But if we redesign these systems around living-systems wisdom, we can expand what's possible: intentionally creating the conditions for human and planetary flourishing.
The Flourishing Systems Foundation builds new civilizational infrastructures to do exactly that. Through living labs, innovation commons, and community resilience hubs across San Francisco, Minnesota, and globally, we work alongside a growing ecosystem of institutions and individuals — across academia, industry, venture, philanthropy, and the public sector — to design and test what life-aligned systems look like in practice.
Our goal is simple: to make the systems we rely on work for life, not against it.

Research
We synthesize ancient wisdom and frontier science to develop new frameworks for flourishing, including flourishing indicators, regenerative economic models, and design processes. Our research is rigorous and relational, in service of a life-aligned future.

Education
We offer workshops, salons, and programs to support innovators, investors, and ecosystem builders in becoming systems stewards. Through daily education and deep learning journeys, we help people grow the capacity to sense, navigate, and shape complex realities.

Incubation
We nurture early-stage research, technology projects, communities, and cultural prototypes that carry the codes of life-giving futures. Our incubation work supports the emergence of new models, narratives, and infrastructure for collective flourishing.

Community
We cultivate spaces, places, and catalytic communities where this work comes alive, fostering resonance, relational intelligence, and shared sensemaking. Because systems don't change without people coming together in new ways.
Flourishing in Community
We host the Human Flourishing floor at the Frontier Tower, a self-organized community focused on incubating and advancing conscious technologies and regenerative innovation.
